Circular Loricaria (Planiloricaria Cryptodon)

The Circular Loricaria, or Planiloricaria cryptodon, is a flat, armored catfish known for its spoon-shaped head and long filaments on its fins. Originating from the Upper Amazon drainage, it lives in sandy riverbeds, and in captivity, it needs a fine sand substrate to bury itself in. While generally peaceful, it can be territorial with its own kind.
