Green Neon Tetras (Paracheirodon Simulans)

Green neon tetras (Paracheirodon simulans) are small, peaceful, schooling freshwater fish native to the Amazon basin, known for their iridescent blue-green stripe that extends along their body. They are a popular aquarium fish, especially in planted tanks, and are smaller and have a more pronounced blue-green stripe than the related neon tetra (Paracheirodon innesi). These fish grow to a maximum of about 1.5 inches (4 cm) and are best kept in groups of six or more.
