The L-052 Atabapo Butterfly Pleco is a peaceful, primarily herbivorous pleco reaching about 5–6 inches in length. It is known for its striking black and gold patterns that can change based on mood and environment. In a home aquarium, it requires a 30–40+ gallon tank with plenty of driftwood, caves, and moderate water flow. Its diet should be varied, including algae wafers and blanched vegetables, supplemented with occasional protein sources like bloodworms.
