L-103 Clown Pleco (Panaque Maccus)

The L-103 clown pleco (Panaqolus maccus) is a dwarf catfish native to South America, reaching up to 3.5 inches long, that is identifiable by its striped pattern, which can be wavy or straight. It is a peaceful, algae and wood-eating omnivore that requires driftwood in its tank to graze on, and its care level is considered moderate. These plecos are well-suited for community aquariums with non-aggressive fish, as they are shy and reclusive, and thrive in aquariums with ample hiding spots.
